Little drummer
Size: 20.5" x 20"
Year: 2023
A little drummer in the wild,
Sits on shoes so big and mild,
In the middle of endless skies,
Where silence spreads, and nothing flies.
He taps his sticks with steady grace,
Echoes fill the empty space,
Each beat a whisper, loud and clear,
A rhythm born from far and near.
The world is vast, the land is wide,
Yet in his music, all collide—
The shoes beneath, the winds above,
The sound of life, the heart of love.
Red-crowned crane and Kingfisher
Size: 20" x 16"
Year: 2023
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky with soft blues, the crane landed beside the kingfisher. The wind was gentle, and the river whispered a calming tune. Without a word, the crane spread its wings wide, and the kingfisher, perched on a nearby branch, flew to its side. They stood together in silence, their bodies near but not quite touching, both caught in the quiet magic of the moment.

The Unlikely Friendship of Blue and Quack
Deep in the heart of a lush wetland, where cattails swayed and dragonflies danced in the sunlight, a baby great blue heron named Blue hatched on a breezy spring morning. Blue, with his wobbly legs and fluff of gray feathers, often gazed curiously at the bustling marsh below, teeming with life.
Not far from Blue’s nest, a tiny duckling named Quack had just emerged into the world, a ball of golden fuzz with an endless sense of adventure. Quack belonged to a brood of siblings who loved to paddle around in the calm shallows, but Quack’s curiosity often led him astray.
One day, Blue was practicing his first awkward hops along the muddy bank, his long legs stumbling as he tried to catch minnows in the water. Quack, drawn by the commotion, waddled closer.
“Hello there!” Quack called out, his cheerful quack echoing across the marsh.
Blue tilted his head, his beak pointing downward. “What are you?” he asked.
“I’m a duckling! And you?”
“I’m a great blue heron,” Blue replied proudly, though his lanky legs gave him little grace.
Quack giggled. “You’re so tall! Can you fly yet?”
“Not yet,” Blue admitted, looking a little embarrassed.
From that moment, the two became fast friends.
